This job profile combines both mechanical and electrical engineering tasks. Nach einem ausbildungsübergreifenden Grundlehrgang werden Sie in den Arbeitsprozess integriert. You will learn about the manufacture of technical systems and all work processes in mechanical engineering and precision engineering.

Welding, edging, burning, grinding, measuring, assembling steel structures

The tasks include the creation of steel and sheet metal constructions using manual and mechanical processing methods. You will learn about the various sheet metal processing methods, such as burning, sawing, welding, edging, turning and milling.

Cutting machine operator (M/F/D)


Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, measuring, programming of CNC processing machines.

After extensive basic training in metal technology, components are manufactured according to specifications using machining processes. Planning and creating programs on numerically controlled machine tools and setting up CNC milling machines are also part of the tasks.

Creation of detailed drawings, preparation of construction plans using CAD program

An important link between design, planning and production. They refine the ideas and drafts of designers and developers. This includes creating detailed drawings and drawing up construction plans using CAD (Computer Aided Design).

Process mechanic for coating technology (M/F/D)


Sanding, cleaning, degreasing, masking, painting, drying, operating painting systems

They apply paints, varnishes and other coating materials to wood, metal and plastic surfaces. This can be done mechanically or manually using various methods of surface coating technology. To do this, you will operate, monitor and maintain the relevant equipment and systems. You will plan the work processes, coordinate them with the upstream and downstream production processes and prepare workpieces for coating.

Warehouse logistics specialist (M/F/D)

Purchasing, scheduling, picking, checking, transporting, shipping and forklift driving

This is an apprenticeship that mainly deals with materials management. In our industrial company, you will acquire organizational skills and practical skills in the storage of goods. This includes, for example: Managing raw materials, checking materials, transportation, outgoing goods, securing loads, handling merchandise management systems and industrial trucks (e.g. forklift trucks).

IT specialist in the field of system integration (M/F/D)


Planning, installing, operating and managing software and hardware components in IT systems

You plan and configure IT systems. As a service provider in-house or at the customer’s premises, you will set up these systems according to customer requirements and operate or manage them. This also includes systematically isolating and rectifying faults that occur using experts and diagnostic systems. You will advise internal and external users on the selection and use of devices and solve application and system problems. You will also create system documentation and provide training for users.

In which sectors are STOPA’s customers active?
Most of our customers worldwide come from the following industries: Automotive, logistics, metal, steel trade, refrigeration technology, plant engineering, electrical, energy, building construction / civil engineering and many more – especially where metal is processed.
What makes working at STOPA unique?

As a traditional company on a growth path, we are the perfect size. With our 300 employees, we have a family working atmosphere and still enjoy the advantages of a large company (see company benefits). This is also reflected in our guiding values, which form the basis of our corporate culture.

No, here we are guided by the availability of the most suitable candidate (m/f/d) for us.
Is it possible to apply for several positions at the same time and can I also apply for other positions after a rejection?
You can use our system to apply for several positions that are suitable for you. A rejection only affects the position in question and does not apply to other positions for which you have applied.
How do I know which position is still vacant?
All positions advertised on the website are vacant. As soon as a position is filled, we remove it from the website.

Pupils and students
How long can I work as a working student and how many hours per week?
The working time is 20 hours per week – during the semester. During semester breaks, working hours can be increased to a maximum of 40 hours. Contracts are limited to one semester. Find out about open working student positions directly on our job board.
