This job combines both mechanical and electrical engineering tasks. After a basic training course covering all aspects of the profession, you will be integrated into the work process. You will learn how to manufacture technical systems and all the work processes involved in mechanical engineering and precision engineering.

Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, measuring, programming CNC machining centers.

After comprehensive basic training in metal technology, components are manufactured according to specifications using machining processes. Your tasks will also include planning and creating programs for numerically controlled machine tools and setting up CNC milling machines.

Creating detailed drawings and developing construction plans using CAD software

An important link between design, planning, and manufacturing. You refine the ideas and designs of designers and developers. This includes creating detailed drawings and developing design plans using CAD (computer-aided design).

Grinding, cleaning, degreasing, masking, painting, drying, operating painting systems

You apply paints, varnishes, and other coating materials to wood, metal, and plastic surfaces. This can be done manually or using various surface coating techniques. To do this, you will operate, monitor, and maintain the relevant equipment and systems. You will plan workflows, coordinate them with upstream and downstream manufacturing processes, and prepare workpieces for coating.

Sales, purchasing, manufacturing, human resources, controlling, and service

This is a training program with a focus on administration. You will learn about all the work processes required for a manufacturing company. These include order processing, purchasing, sales, business organization, accounting, human resources, and quality management at STOPA.

Purchasing, scheduling, picking, checking, transporting, shipping, and driving forklifts

This is a training program that focuses primarily on materials management. At our industrial company, you will acquire organizational skills and practical expertise in the storage of goods. This includes, for example: raw materials management, materials inspection, transport, goods dispatch, load securing, working with merchandise management systems, and industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts).

Planning, installing, operating, and managing software and hardware components in IT systems

You plan and configure IT systems. As an in-house service provider or at the customer’s site, you set up these systems according to customer requirements and operate and manage them. This also includes systematically isolating and rectifying faults with the help of experts and diagnostic systems when they occur. You advise internal and external users on the selection and use of equipment and solve application and system problems. In addition, you create system documentation and conduct training courses for users.
