STOPA Metal Storage Solutions:

Automated Shelving Systems from STOPA: because sheet metal storage belongs in the hands of professionals.

Towers, racks, honeycomb partitions – in the end, the type of shelving system depends primarily on the spatial constraints at hand. However, what separates simple storage shelving systems from automatic shelving systems is a whole set of synchronised automation technologies linked in a complex and harmonical manner. Automated shelving systems conceived as steel shelving systems fit into steel goods processors' visions of more or less process-optimized production lines.

Automated Shelving Systems: the largest untapped reserves of productivity lie in warehousing and turnover rates:

Sadly, the peripheral equipment around sheet metal processing machines is neglected much too often. As both the starting and finishing point of logistics, semi-automated and fully automated shelving systems are a decisive factor in profitable proccessing. Only with at least semi-automated shelving systems are cycle-synchronised operations such as transport and handling of sheet metal pakets, feeding and emptying processing machines possible – semi automated and fully automated shelving systems keep up with any cycle time.

Semi-automated or fully automated shelving systems – especially the planned cycle times determine the level of automation required:

Semi-automated or fully automated shelving systems for sheet metal and flat goods storage/handling? The level of required automation is dependent on the customer's particular idea of a product line. If operation at 30 - 40% of the possible running time for a particular machine is sufficient, fully automated shelving systems are not necessarily the way to go. In this case, the processing machine can be fed manually using a semi-automated system such as our shelving systems STOPATOWER Mono and STOPATOWER Eco. Is a fully automated processing machine such as a laser cutter in use, where operation at 70-80% of the possible running time is desired, fully automated industrial shelving systems are absolutely essential. Projected onto a year, this means an increase of over 6 500 hours of profitable operation. Regardless if semi-automated or fully automated shelving system – talk to the specialists from STOPA. We have been building both for over 45 years now.
