The STOPA Retrofit pursues two targets. On the one hand ensuring availability beyond the day, and on the other hand the strategic target of increased efficiency through modernisation. Because often enough, the processes and workflows have changed over time. 



The economic benefit of a modernisation is very clearly apparent: compared to purchasing a new system, already existing systems are brought up to the state-of-the-art by replacing outdated components and adding new, current technologies.



The ROI is measurable generally already after one year has elapsed – besides doing away with time-consuming side-effects – whilst maintaining the same performance and at significantly lower costs compared to newly purchasing a corresponding system.
